An oven that will not heat, heats unevenly, or never reaches temperature has a specific failure: a bake element, a broil element, an igniter, a temperature sensor, a thermostat, or the control board driving them. We test each in turn rather than swapping the board first.
Diagnostic is $95, credited toward the repair when you approve it. Element and igniter replacements are usually one visit; control boards are quoted with the part number before we proceed.
Based in Lemon Grove, our core service area runs about twelve miles out — a tight ring on purpose, because it is what lets us hold a same-day window and arrive when we say we will. Larger jobs further out are welcome: call and we will tell you honestly whether the trip makes sense.
Usually a weak igniter that no longer draws the current the gas valve needs, or a failed gas valve coil. Igniters are tested for current draw, not just glow.
Usually yes. A partially failed bake element, a failing convection fan, or a door seal that no longer closes properly are the common causes.
Yes. Wolf, Thermador, Viking, Miele, Bosch and similar pro-style ranges are regular work; the owner is factory-trained on those brands.
