A $95 diagnostic credited toward your repair, most repairs between $145 and $295, and a quote before any work starts.
Two numbers decide almost every bill: the diagnostic, which is fixed, and the part, which is not. We publish both the fixed number and the range the part usually lands in, so you can decide before you call whether this is worth your time. We do not publish a flat price for sealed-system or built-in work because the honest answer depends on the machine and the access, and we will not invent a number to look competitive.
Two diagnostic tiersThe standard diagnostic is $95. On high-end brands and on every cooling-system job it is $145, because those machines take longer to reach, are usually built in, and on the refrigeration side need EPA Section 608 equipment and leak detection before anyone can tell you what the repair is. Both fees are credited in full toward the repair when you approve it. If you decline, the diagnostic stands as the charge and you owe nothing further.
What we will not do is publish a flat price for high-end or sealed-system work. Those repairs cost substantially more than mainstream work — a compressor, a control board or a refrigerant leak on a built-in unit is a different order of magnitude from a drain pump — and inventing a low number to look competitive would waste your time.
What drives the priceWe diagnose, then we quote. Nothing is replaced or ordered until you approve the price. If the repair is not worth it, we will say so — a machine that needs a compressor and a control board is usually a replacement, and pretending otherwise wastes your money and our afternoon.
QuestionsThe diagnostic is $95 on mainstream appliances and $145 on high-end brands and cooling systems, and it is credited in full toward the repair when you approve it. Most completed appliance repairs land between $145 and $295 depending on the part required. High-end brand and cooling-system repairs cost substantially more than that and are quoted after the diagnostic, before any work starts.
Yes. The $95 or $145 diagnostic is credited in full when you approve the repair. If you decline the repair, the diagnostic stands as the charge and you owe nothing further.
Those machines take longer to reach, are usually built in, and on the refrigeration side need EPA Section 608 equipment and leak detection before anyone can tell you what the repair is. The fee is $145 and it is credited the same way the standard diagnostic is.
Two failures that sound identical can be a $12 part or a sealed system. Quoting before diagnosis would mean guessing, and we would rather tell you the real number once than a wrong number twice.
The failed part, how hard it is to reach, whether refrigerant or sealed-system work is involved, and how many separate faults are present. We tell you which of those applies before any work begins.
No. Sealed-system, refrigerant and built-in work is quoted after the diagnostic, because the honest number depends on the machine and the access.
Yes. We are an independent repair company. Out-of-warranty work is our normal business, and completed repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
The repair we performed and the part we supplied: if the same failure returns within 90 days, we come back out at no additional charge.
