Coronado is the far corner of our service area, and we treat it that way: the trip gets planned properly rather than promised as a rushed arrival. Refrigerators and sealed systems are on the list, along with ice makers and built-in refrigerators, washers and dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, microwaves, wine coolers and consumer electronics.
The route runs High Street to the Martin Luther King Junior Freeway, then 25th Street and Chicano Park Boulevard toward the bay, and finally Route 75 across the bridge to 4th Street. Measured from our Lemon Grove shop that is 11.1 miles, about 16 minutes in light traffic. Because the island sits at the outer edge of our core ring, we book these visits deliberately. Hours are 9 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM Sunday. Call (858) 267-9438.
Coronado is an island city, ZIP 92118, reached either by the SR-75 bridge or the Silver Strand. The housing stock is historic single-family homes and condominiums on small lots, so access and clearance often matter as much as the appliance itself. Bay-facing condos and older cottages sit close together, and parking is tight, so a little extra time on arrival is normal. We would rather say that up front than surprise you at the curb.
The measured drive from the shop is 11.1 miles, roughly 16 minutes without traffic, which places Coronado at the outer edge of our core twelve-mile ring. We still schedule the island. What we will not do is pretend it is around the corner. Ask for a window and we will tell you what the day honestly allows.
It is at the outer edge rather than inside it. The measured drive is 11.1 miles, at the outer edge of our core twelve-mile ring. We still schedule work on the island; we simply plan the trip in advance and give you a window that reflects real travel time.
Sometimes, when slots are open, but we will not promise it. The bridge and the Silver Strand both add travel that can shift during the day. The honest answer is that same-day service is offered as availability allows, and you will always get a real time window.
We repair the appliances, not the buildings. Sealed systems and refrigerators top the list, followed by ice makers, built-in refrigerators, washers and dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, microwaves, wine coolers and consumer electronics. In older Coronado homes the constraint is usually access, so we size up the doorway before moving a unit.
Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. The number is (858) 267-9438. If you reach us outside those hours, leave the appliance type and the symptom, and we will call back when the shop opens.
A technician tests the appliance, identifies the failed component and quotes the repair. The $95 is credited in full toward the repair when you approve it that repair. Refrigerant work, when it is needed, is performed by an EPA Section 608 Type 1 certified technician. Repairs we complete carry a 90-day warranty.
